We have earlier informed that Vijay’s next film to be directed by AR Murgadoss is titled Thuppaki and will be produced by Vijay’s dad SA Chandrasekhar but the latest buzz in the Kollywood reveals that there is a change in the producer for the film and now, the big budget film will be produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. A.R.Murugadoss was reportedly asking for a huge renuremation which made Kalaipuli S Dhanu to take over this project . Thuppaki will be made with a whopping budget of 60 Crores and producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu will fund for it. The movie will be set in the backdrop of Mumbai. this leaves us to the question of what happened to the project that Vijay signed for Kalaipuli S Dhanu already that was about to be directed by Seeman. The sources say that the project has been shelved. Kajal Agarwal will play the leading lady in the film and the first schedule of Thuppaki will commence from December in Thiruchendur after which the unit will leave to Mumbai.
